Peninsula Consulting Engineers specialise in civil and structural engineering in both the domestic and light industrial/commercial field.
The business begun in 2007 when I had a vision of a value added engineering practice of my own, where you would have just one point of contact for all your engineering needs.
Bruce Lewis is the Principal Engineer and Owner of the business. He has extensive experience spanning over 20 years in the building industry. He started working on site as a labourer in the late 1980’s before attending Sydney University and becoming an engineer. Since graduation Bruce has worked for a few well placed multi-disciplinary engineering practices prior to starting Peninsula Consulting Engineers in 2007. He worked his way up to the position of Senior Engineer and Director in another local Engineering practice.
Bruce reached Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status in 2004 and has been registered on the National Professional Engineers Register since 2004.
As work has increased over the years, we have expanded the business by adding a part time Senior Engineer to provide guidance and reduce the workload on Bruce. John Lewis (Bruce’s Father) now provides stormwater management, on-site stormwater detention and flood advice for Peninsula Consulting Engineers. John is a Civil Engineer and has a wealth of experience in the construction and consulting industry spanning almost 50 years.
